Existe vida depois da Splatfest?
Semana passada a Nintendo anunciou que, neste mês de julho, ocorrerá o último Splatfest. Muitas pessoas estão se perguntando o que será do jogo sem esses eventos. Porém, algumas considerações precisam ser feitas antes de condenar o jogo, ok? Vamos a elas?
O que é a Splatfest
Splatfest é um evento que ocorre quase que mensalmente, que dura apenas algumas horas de um final de semana e que é “promovido” pelas irmãs, Callie e Marie. Geralmente as irmãs definem dois temas para os jogadores escolherem o lado da disputa. Já tivemos, por exemplo, Bob Esponja x Patrick, festa a fantasia x festa de gala, gatos x cachorros, etc. Um tempo antes do festival começar, os jogadores já podem começar a escolher qual dos dois times do festival ele defenderá.
Durante as horas que se passam, os jogadores se digladiam (cada um pela equipe que escolheu) e, ao final do evento, é divulgada uma equipe vencedora com base em alguns critérios como número fãs daquela equipe e a porcentagem de vitória obtida durante os confrontos.

E devo me preocupar?
Acredito que não! Splatoon ficou conhecido pela sua jogabilidade excelente e por seu modo online que é extremamente divertido. Como dito mais acima, o Splatfest é um evento mensal e que dura apenas algumas horas de um final de semana do mês, ou seja, na maior parte do tempo Splatoon funciona apenas com o seu modo online normal, modo este que possui uma base de jogadores ativos bem grande. Pra resumir: Splatfest é uma exceção à regra e não deve interferir na vontade de jogar dos jogadores. Se a Nintendo mantiver, como prometeu em nota à imprensa, os servidores funcionando, não tem por que temer o fim do jogo, ou seja, dependerá somente dos jogadores manter o online vivo, concorda?
Além disso, existem rumores de que Splatoon faria parte da leva de jogos que serão compatibilizados para rodar com o NX. Se isso for verdade, a Nintendo desfazer o online antes do lançamento do jogo para NX é um tiro no pé e uma propaganda mais que negativa para a franquia (que completou recentemente 1 ano de lançamento, apenas) ! O online do jogo não morreu, os jogadores estão lá! Não há a menor necessidade de a Nintendo derrubar agora, esse serviço. Ressalto que o NX está previsto somente para março de 2017, até lá a Nintendo espera queimar o estoque encalhado de Wii U e de jogos.
Por isso, acredito que apesar do anúncio recente ter colocado pulga atrás das orelhas dos jogadores, não há que temer, pelo menos por ora, o fim do suporte online do jogo.
ela encerrou os servidores do mario kart wii muito cedo e aquele foi se não me engano o mario kart q vendeu mais d 9 milhões d copias…. quando ouvi sobre fim das splatfest ja deu um mini infarto… ai paro e penso q a Microsoft tem servidor ativo do battlefield bad co 2 ate hj e esse eh um game de 2009…..
Isso realmente desanima e faz pensar se os jogos multilayer online valem a pena! Acabam ficando dependentes de servidores!
