Seguindo a fórmula já consagrada da franquia, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 é um jogo essencialmente de ação com visão isométrica em que o jogador conduz uma equipe formada por quatro heróis do universo Marvel.
Ao todo são 34 personagens que são liberados ao longo da campanha principal e vão se juntando ao time conforme a estória avança. E tem para todos os gostos: Guardiões da Galaxia, Vingadores, X-Men, Defensores, Aranha-verso etc.
E não para por aí, pois mais personagens e também novas campanhas já foram prometidas e serão lançadas através de DLCs. Os três primeiros já estão confirmados, sendo dois deles ainda para 2019 e o último para o ano que vem. Podemos esperar mais integrantes dos X-Mens, Quarteto fantástico e Marvel Knights.
Com tantos personagens disponíveis o grande barato da franquia é a liberdade para montar a equipe como preferir. Contudo em Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 a construção de equipes com heróis que possuem alguma afinidade acaba gerando alguns bônus em atributos da equipe melhorando o ataque, resistência, desgaste etc.

Cubos de evolução concedem XP imediato para um personagem que você escolher, cristais e outros recursos podem ser utilizados para melhorar as habilidades individuais ou ainda o status de time da sua equipe. Já a árvore de habilidades da equipe é gigantesca.
Todas essas possibilidades de personalização de personagem e time adicionam, sem dúvida nenhuma, uma camada um pouco mais complexa ao jogo. Adição mais do que bem-vinda.
Modos de jogo
A campanha é o principal modo de jogo, leva pouco mais de dez horas para ser concluída sem muita exploração e assim como os recentes filmes da Marvel é levemente inspirada pelo arco Desafio Infinito dos quadrinhos acompanhando a busca de Thanos pelas joias.
Rift é o segundo modo de jogo e funciona como uma espécie de arena para que os jogadores consigam evoluir os personagens mais fracos antes de adicioná-los à equipe principal em momentos mais avançados da campanha, onde um nível mais alto é necessário. São missões, na maioria das vezes, aleatórias que servem apenas como um garimpo para buscar recursos e XP. Muitas missões de Rift são liberadas durante a campanha quando o jogador encontra as chamadas “fendas” pelo cenário.

Dentre estas limitações destaco as missões de Rift só podem ser jogadas se já tiverem sido liberadas por todos os jogadores da Party, ou seja, jogar com um amigo em um nível muito diferente do seu é uma experiência frustrante. Outro ponto negativo para o online é que jogando em duas pessoas, o host controla três personagens enquanto o convidado apenas um e não é possível distribuir isso de outras maneiras.
Graficos e sons
Graficamente o jogo é muito bonito e entrega o que se espera de um console da atual geração. Os personagens são bem animados e fiéis aos visuais vistos nos quadrinhos. Parabéns para a direção de arte.
Todos os cenários são bem retratados e repletos de pequenos detalhes, sejam mais realistas como Hells Kitchen, lar do Demolidor, ou de ficção com Asgard e Wakanda.
Entretanto nem tudo são flores quanto ao que é apresentado na tela. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 tem um problema sério com a câmera. Lutar em ambientes fechados é um pesadelo. Com um número muito grande de elementos na tela e quatro personagens controláveis, a câmera se perde a todo momento e acaba tornando a experiência muito ruim.
A trilha sonora é um ponto positivo. As músicas são legais e com temas bem diferentes entre si que contribuem muito para a ambientação do universo. A dublagem também recebeu um carinho especial e os atores escolhidos combinam muito bem com os personagens. Nenhuma voz soou estranha ou com problemas de entonação.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 é um presente para os fãs da franquia e também uma bela homenagem à toda história construída pela Marvel nos cinemas e principalmente nos quadrinhos.
