Recentemente fiz a minha mais nova aquisição: um 2DS. Estou ainda fascinado pelo mundo de jogos que se abriu diante de mim e com a qualidade de alguns jogos. No entanto, um item específico me irritou profundamente: a lista de amigos. Bom, pra quem não conhece o 3DS/2DS pessoalmente e só ouviu falar, quando você compra o console você faz uma configuração inicial e pode, inclusive, fazer logon em sua conta da Nintendo. Fiz isso logo que pude colocar as mãos no meu portátil.
Eu, é claro, comprei Mario Kart 7 na esperança de poder jogar online com amigos meus, tal qual faço costumeiramente no Wii U. Ingenuamente fui na lista de amigos para saber se tinha algum online. Ressalto que minha conta da Nintendo (mesma do Wii U) estava logada. Para a minha surpresa, cadê a minha lista de amigos configurada? Cadê meus amigos que tenho cadastrados no Wii U? Cadê todo mundo? Eu estava sozinho!
Entristecido, porém inabalável, pensei: “mancada! Porém sem problemas, eu cadastro novamente os que eu sei que têm o 3DS. Basta pegar os Nintendo IDs deles e……”. Foi então que me deparei com o sistema pedindo um número para adicionar novos amigos. Resumindo a história burocrática toda: para cada amigo meu, eu tive que mandar uma mensagem, solicitar o friend code dele, esperar ele chegar em casa, ligar o 3DS, responder à minha solicitação, eu ler e mensagem, ligar o meu 2DS, entrar na lista de amigos e finalmente adicioná-lo. Para alguns, eu já passei meu friendcode que encurtou um pouco esse processo.
Uma pergunta fica nisso tudo: por que a Nintendo não importa os dados das listas de amizades? Por que tem que ser um número e não pelo nome de usuário ou e-mail (que ficaria bem mais fácil)? Esse tipo de coisa é desnecessária e retrógrada de se fazer.
Aí você pode pensar: “mas o console foi lançado há muito tempo”. Isso é verdade, mas houve atualização de Sistema Operacional que poderia ter corrigido essa bagunça. E para não ficar só no problema do 3DS, parece que a Big N não aprende com os erros. Super Mario Run, que fora lançado no dia 15 de dezembro de 2016, possui o mesmo processo ridículo de inclusão de amigos.
Ah, Nintendo, você tem que acordar e facilitar as coisas um pouco. Lista de amigos não pode ser por número que não significa nada. Uma burocracia dessa é realmente desnecessária.

É muito simples, o sistema de adicionar amigos do 3DS não foi pensado para funcionar com o NNID, ele foi baseado nos sistemas que a Nintendo utilizava no Wii/DS. Ao contrário do Wii U, que foi projetado com o NNID e com o Miiverse em mente.
Acredito que seria bem complicado mudar isso tudo com uma simples atualização como vc sugeriu, se fosse possível, ela provavelmente teria feito isso junto com a atualização que tornou o 3DS compatível com o Miiverse é com a Nintendo Network.
