Captain Toad: um jogo com a cara do 3DS
Em novembro de 2014 a Nintendo anunciou para Wii U o seu novo jogo: Captain Toad! Tá, nem tão novo assim! O jogo foi inspirado em um mini-game que fez muito sucesso dentro do Super Mario 3D World, do mesmo Wii U. No entanto, convenhamos, esse jogo tem muito mais cara de um jogo para portáteis do que um jogo para consoles! Vamos ver o motivo pelo qual penso assim!
Sobre o game
Ele é um jogo estilo puzzle que você controla ora o Toad ora a Toadette. Uma vez que carregam uma mochila pesada de aventureiro nas costas, eles não conseguem pular. As perninhas curtas também não permitem que eles andem muito rápido. Então, munidos apenas de sua coragem, eles enfrentam os perigos mais variados.
O game possui diversos desafios, e zerá-lo 100% exige um bocado de tempo, pois você precisa passar as fases coletando as joias, cumprindo os objetivos secundários, completando os desafios de tempo de cada estágio e, de quebra, eles lançaram ainda o modo de integração com Amiibos, no qual você deve procurar um Pixel-Toad histérico que resolveu, por conta própria, esconder-se na fase! Acredite, é muito divertido.
O jogo é lindo graficamente, possui uma trilha sonora muito boa e a jogabilidade é fluida (talvez um momento ou outro a câmera atrapalhe um pouquinho).
E por que você acha que o jogo tem a cara do 3DS?
O jogo, como disse acima, foi baseado em um mini-game do jogo Super Mario 3D World e manteve a sua essência de ser composto por pequenas fases, mas com grandes desafios. É um jogo bem casual e com cara de jogos portáteis. Outra coisa que podemos destacar é que, devido a atenção que você tem que ter na tela do jogo, é muito comum a pessoa olhar para o gamepad em vez de olhar para a TV (que reproduz a mesma imagem). Isso por que a proximidade da tela faz toda a diferença nesse tipo de jogo. E cá entre nós: o gamepad lembra, e muito, um portátil, não é?
Além da sua essência portável, o jogo poderia usar e abusar das duas telas do 3DS. Por diversos momentos, você tem uma fase vertical no jogo do Wii U (por exemplo: aquelas fases que você tem que subir enquanto uma lava vulcânica sobe) e eu consigo imaginar a utilização da tela superior para você conseguir enxergar além do que uma única tela é capaz de revelar. Além disso, como o Wii U possui funcionalidades bem parecidas com o 3DS, as mudanças no gameplay não seriam grandes. Funções como microfone, toques na tela, interação com amiibos, entre outras, poderiam ser facilmente mantidas em uma versão portátil.
As mudanças que realmente necessitariam serem feitas seriam gráficas, como, por exemplo, uma adaptação gráfica para adequar o jogo à capacidade de processamento do 3DS e para utilizar as duas telas de forma efetiva. Apesar de o Wii U também possuir duas telas (gamepad + TV), o jogo em raras oportunidades usufrui desse fato, permanecendo a maioria do tempo ambas as telas exibindo o mesmo conteúdo. No 3DS seria interessante mudar isso e utilizar, efetivamente, as duas telas.
Viu? Esse jogo clama, implora, pede para ser lançado no 3DS. Veja bem, não estou criticando a versão do Wii U! Muito pelo contrário! Eu aconselho a todos vocês comprarem pois é um jogo extremamente divertido e desafiador! O que quero dizer com esse post é que esse jogo merecia uma versão para 3DS, já que é um jogo que tem a cara do console.
