Dança das cadeiras e Relatório fiscal
Pegando a todos de surpresa, a Nintendo anunciou nesta quinta-feira que seu presidente Tatsumi Kimishima irá se aposentar em junho e que, a partir daí, quem assumirá o comando da Big N será Shuntaro Furukawa, de 46 anos. Desde 2015, após a morte de Satoru Iwata, Kimishima esteve no comando da Nintendo e teve seu trabalho bastante elogiado.
Furukawa ingressou na Nintendo em 1994, é diretor externo da Pokémon Company desde 2012 e faz parte do conselho da Nintendo. Um ponto positivo é que ele fala inglês, o que pode dar trazer uma maior participação dele no mercado ocidental. Será? Só o tempo dirá!
Além disso, a Nintendo também anunciou o seu relatório fiscal que revelou que o Switch alcançou a marca de 17,79 milhões desde o seu lançamento. Torcemos que continue sempre crescendo!
E3
Foi anunciado que a E3 dará um foco especial para o novo Super Smash Bros. A apresentação será no dia 12 de junho às 13h. A apresentação será novamente em vídeo e, após a exibição, será feita a tradicional treehouse.
Além disso, haverá torneios de Splatoon e de Super Smash Bros.
Novidades Online
O atual presidente da Nintendo afirmou que em maio teremos mais novidades do serviço online da Big N. Não foi revelada data, não foi revelado o que será apresentado, ou seja, teremos que aguardar por mais informações. O serviço será lançado em setembro.
Splatfest
COWABUNGAAAAAA! A Nintendo anunciou, em uma parceria com a Nickelodeon, que as Splatfests Europeia e Americana terão a temática das Tartarugas Ninja. Serão ao todo três etapas, com três semanas seguidas de duelos tartaruguescos:
- Raphael vs. Leonardo. O evento ocorrerá em 04 e 05 de maio.
- Michelangelo vs. Donatello. O evento ocorrerá em 11 e 12 de maio.
- Os vencedores dos duelos acima se enfrentarão no dia 18 e 19 de maio.
Não é a primeira vez que a Nickelodeon faz uma parceria com a Nintendo. Ainda no Wii U, ocorreu uma Splatfest em que os jogadores escolheram entre Bob Esponja e Patrick.

Wolfeinstein 2
Wolfeinstein 2 finalmente teve sua data de lançamento revelada: 29 de junho. Além disso, tivemos a confirmação do tamanho do jogo, que ocupará 13,7GB do espaço do Switch.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R foi anunciado para o Switch e chegará também ao ocidente, pelo que afirmou a Arc System Works. A previsão é que o jogo chegue ao console no final de 2018.
Sonic Mania Plus Upgrade
Sonic Mania Plus está chegando no Nintendo Switch e os detentores do título original poderão atualizar pro Plus pagando 5 dólares, atualização esta que se dará por meio de uma DLC.
As mudanças na versão Plus vão desde novos personagens (Mighty the Armadillo e Ray the Flying Squirrel) até o modo Encore que fornece uma visão atualizada de fases clássicas com novos layouts e desafios.
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze
Digital Foundry fez alguns testes na versão do Switch, comparando-a com a versão do Wii U. Alguns quesitos foram analisados, dentre eles destaco:
- Framerate => jogo manteve o framerate do Wii U, ou seja, 60fps.
- Resolução => No modo dock o jogo rodará a 1080p, no modo portátil 648p. No Wii U a resolução era 720p.
- Loading => uma notícia animadora, visto que no Switch o jogo parece que demorará menos nas transições entre mapa do jogo e a fase em si.
