Faltam 7 dias
Não, você não a assistiu um filme antigo e misterioso em uma fita e recebeu uma ligação dizendo que só tem 7 dias de vida. Restam apenas 7 dias para o lançamento de Star Fox Zero! Muita gente ansiosa já prevendo uma nota 10/10, e muita gente perdeu o interesse analisando apenas os vídeos do YouTube. O certo é que só saberemos o que será Star Fox Zero no dia 22/04/2016! Isso não impede que a gente possa fazer uma prosa boa sobre o que esperar desse jogo, não é?
Ahhhhh, mas os gráficos são ruins! Não animei não!
Quem viu os primeiros vídeos lançados sobre o jogo teve a impressão de que os gráficos não eram bons! Muito pelo visual quadradão que fazia parecer que esse, na verdade, seria um port da versão do Nintendo 64, porém com novas texturas. E isso é o que mais tem desanimado os fãs da série. As naves, cenários, inimigos e todos os demais elementos parecem ter saído de um cartucho do N64 e não de um jogo para Wii U. Vídeo após vídeo, o desanimo com os gráficos do jogo foram se consolidando! Tá certo que desde o anúncio a Big N vem ajeitando os gráficos, mas ainda assim está muito aquém do que esperamos. Ainda é um jogo muito pobre!
É verdade que a Nintendo está, até certo ponto, de mãos amarradas. Afinal, você consegue imaginar a repercussão negativa que teríamos com a Big N mexendo no layout das naves e, talvez, tirando a principal identidade delas? As naves da franquia têm identidade, de modo que, com um simples olhar, você consegue saber que se trata de um jogo da série só pelo desenho da nave. Elas sempre foram poligonais, por isso modificar o layout é um terreno perigoso que a Nintendo optou por não adentrar. E eu sou a favor dessa postura, gosto das naves do jeito que elas são. Por isso, a meu ver, elas foram até bem trabalhadas (exceto uma ou outra coisa que as naves poderiam ter, como mais efeitos luminosos que dão um nível de detalhe e impacto visual maior) e mantiveram a identidade já estabelecida. Porém os cenários (ahhh os cenários!) podiam ter sido melhor detalhados e com mais referências aos jogos da franquia e, quem sabe, até de outras franquias. Não estou pedindo muito, afinal um jogo de 2 anos atrás fez isso brilhantemente bem, o nome desse jogo é Mario Kart 8.
Sinceramente, quando ouvi dizer que Star Fox seria lançado eu esperava um nível de detalhes dos cenários tão minucioso quanto fizeram com Mario Kart 8, afinal essa é uma das principais franquias da Nintendo e uma das que têm mais fãs. Mas o que foi divulgado foi muito abaixo do que eu esperava. Os cenários lembram muito aqueles jogos de nave de meados dos anos 2000! Não, nós não queremos muito mais do que sabemos que a Nintendo pode oferecer e do que ela já demonstrou que pode oferecer! Aparenta até que ela não tem interesse nesse jogo e está lançando porque “tem que lançar”! Faltam carinho, atenção aos detalhes, coisas inteligentes! Falta um pouco de Nintendo nesse jogo! Na verdade, desculpe! Falta TUDO de Nintendo nesse jogo. Pelo menos é que aparenta até esta data.
Outro problema relacionado ao gráfico: saiu uma notícia outro dia que me pareceu que o jogo não será em Full-HD e isso é um ponto mais do que negativo para a Nintendo. Vamos tentar explicar: a Digital Foundry fez um teste de quantidade de quadros por segundo que o jogo suporta (lembrando que a meta era 60 fps). Pois bem, durante a maioria do jogo essa quantidade se manteve dentro da meta de 60 fps, porém em alguns trechos caía para 50 e até 40 fps! Antes que haters venham criticar com argumentos ruins, 40 fps permite que o jogo rode sem que você perceba a queda! A justificativa é a dupla visão que temos (TV e Gamepad) que faz com que o Wii U processe duas imagens distintas, sendo uma para a TV (1280 x 720) e outra para o gamepad (854 x 480). A resolução em Full HD é de 1920 x 1080. Repare que a resolução enviada para a TV é apenas em HD e não Full-HD. Se essa limitação se confirmar, dependendo do tamanho da sua TV, você perceberá serrilhados durante o gameplay.
A jogabilidade dele promete, né?
Promete sim! O conceito de usar o gamepad do Wii U para simular o cockpit abre possibilidades muito interessantes! Confesso que estou curioso para ver o funcionamento dele e se vai ser algo útil ou algo simplesmente pra falar: “tá vendo, temos duas telas!”. Esse é o item que mais me chama atenção e anima para comprar o jogo.
Integração com amiibos
Confirmado que os amiibos do Fox e do Falco destravarão duas coisas somente! Veja as imagens abaixo:
Cadê os multiplayers local e online?
Aparentemente a Nintendo optou por fazer um multiplayer em coop e não versus! Isso, pra mim, tira metade da diversão e do valor do jogo. Isso porque uma das maiores lembranças que tenho do Star Fox eram as batalhas em multiplayer no Nintendo 64. E 9 em cada 10 pessoas que você perguntar, vão se lembrar desse jogo no modo versus. Infelizmente, a Big N parece que não ligou pros nossos sentimentos! Se tinha uma coisa a ser portada do Nintendo 64 era o multiplayer, e não os gráficos. Que bola fora Nintendo! Logo você que sempre prezou a jogabilidade multiplayer.
O preço
Como todos sabemos, jogos de Wii U no Brasil será aquela maravilha! Pode esperar R$250 ou mais no jogo. Por isso, não sei se vale a pena o investimento. Teremos que esperar pra ver! O fato é que há muito os fãs esperam um jogo do time Star Fox para um console de mesa, já que não foi lançado nenhum jogo para o Wii. Por isso, comprar o jogo (caso ele seja bom) é uma maneira de dizer: ei Nintendo, queremos mais jogos do Star Fox!
Conclusão
Entenda que estamos fazendo esse post com base em trailers. Ainda não jogamos o jogo e, por isso, é impossível condená-lo. É como você dizer que o filme é bom ou ruim sem ter visto ainda e com base apenas em trailer. Esperamos, com toda a sinceridade, que a gente erre muito nesse preview e nas nossas expectativas, e que o jogo venha cheio de detalhes escondidos pela Nintendo a 7 chaves. Esperamos que venha um jogo fantástico e que seja referência para a franquia. Mas no momento, o cenário que se desenha é que mesmo tendo um bom jogo, a Nintendo pecou muito no desenvolvimento. Acreditamos que tanto eu quanto você, leitor e fã da franquia, merecíamos algo melhor.
Um console que tem pérolas como Mario Kart 8, Splatoon, Mario 3D World, Bayonetta e outros grandes jogos, merecia um jogo muito melhor do que o que está se desenhando, concorda?
Isso não quer dizer que só por causa dos gráficos eu não queira jogar, muito pelo contrário! Estou morrendo de vontade de jogar esse jogo! Mas vou esperar pacientemente pelo lançamento pra ver as primeiras impressões do jogo!
