Olá, pessoal! Para quem não me conhece, meu nome é Emile e felizmente eu faço parte dessa família bonita chamada Nintendo Lovers. Hoje eu estou aqui para falar um pouquinho sobre uma paixão, um jogo que marcou minha vida para sempre, e ainda que vocês, leitores, possam estar cansados de ouvir falar dele, eu estou aqui para falar sobre Zelda.
À primeira vista
A quantidade de jogos que eu joguei na vida não tá no gibi! Por esse motivo, quando alguém pergunta qual o meu jogo preferido, eu simplesmente tenho uma dificuldade enorme de responder. Mas uma coisa é fato, o jogo que mais marcou com certeza foi aquele Zelda: Ocarina of Time, e foi também o primeiro Zelda que tive contato.

Eu não lembro a idade que eu tinha, talvez uns 10 anos, mas eu lembro de quando fomos na loja comprar o Nintendo 64, foi uma ansiedade enorme misturada com empolgação que vocês nem imaginam! O console vinha com o Star Wars: Episode I Racer (sim, fui a única do mundo que não pegou o N64 + Mario 64), por sorte tinha uma amiga que já conhecia o Zelda, e saímos da loja com este jogo extra.
O início da minha paixão
De extra o jogo não tinha nada. O que dizer sobre essa experiência em 3D com um universo gigante para explorar? Lindo, maravilhoso, amor à primeira vista mesmo! E como meu console anterior tinha sido o Mega Drive, eu ainda não tinha tanto contato assim com um mundo amplo desse jeito e que realmente tinha uma história para contar. Por mais que muitos falem que Zelda não é forte em história, os fãs sabem que ele é muito marcante por ser o que é.
Só para terem uma ideia, eu jogava com minhas irmãs, como éramos bem crianças e naquela época o inglês que se ensinava na escola não era tão funcional assim, a irmã mais velha traduzia tudo para as mais novas enquanto navegávamos encantadas por aquele universo. Desde o início, na Kokiri Village, tendo como melhor amiga uma das minhas personagens femininas preferidas da história dos jogos digitais, a Saria, até sair daquele mundo limitadinho da floresta onde só haviam crianças e parecia tudo muito feliz, para então descobrir uma Hyrule enorme ao lado de uma fadinha chamada Navi.
A partir daí um novo mundo se abre, trilhamos ainda mais caminhos com o Link, fazendo amizade com fazendeiros, com seres diferentes em um misto de estereótipo amedrontador porém se monstrando super fofos e simpáticos (os Goron), encontrando fadas espalhafatosas, ficando noivo involuntariamente de uma Zora e se tornando grande amigo da Epona, uma eguinha linda, e tudo com muita ocarina e curiosa felicidade! Até que acontece o rompimento dessa fase da vida, o momento de deixar para trás toda essa eterna infância para atingir uma maturidade precoce e, literalmente, tornar-se adulto em segundos. Já tinhamos vivido tanto jogando com o Link criança e ainda era a menor parte do jogo!
Tudo aquilo me atingiu com tanta força que quando eu fui jogar novamente, desta vez sozinha, eu ainda lembrava de todos os detalhes, inclusive dos diálogos! E joguei as terceira, quarta, quinta, incontáveis vezes, e cada vez amando mais e mais. Pois é, gente, não foi professor, nem a escola e nem um curso, foi Zelda que me ensinou inglês ainda antes dos filmes legendados ou das traduções de músicas, e é algo que eu aconselho demais para qualquer criança hoje e em qualquer época.
E o que mais?
Afinal, por qual motivo eu estou voltando a falar sobre estas coisas justo agora? Seria por que o Breath of the Wild está quase batendo na nossa porta? Sim, também por isso, aliás meus amigos, que jogo maravilhoso, né? Mas não é só isso não.
No fim do ano passado eu participei de um Amigo Oculto daqueles de fim de ano, sabem? E olha só o que eu ganhei:
Gente, a minha emoção foi tanta que eu nem pude me conter, quase chorei de tanta alegria com esse presente maravilhoso. No mesmo dia chegando em casa eu abri para imediatamente folhear aquela obra de arte que guarda a história de várias outras obras junto. Conta para nós sobre cada jogo, sobre cada personagem, sobre cada mundo naquele universo, inclusive alguns mundos que eu ainda não vivenciei, pois depois dos Zeldas de Nintendo DS eu parei, e ainda perdi alguns nessa trajetória. Foi aí que eu tomei uma decisão, 2017 será o ano que começarei a tirar o atraso de Zelda! Jogarei os que faltaram e, quem sabe, repetirei algumas experiências maravilhosamente nostálgicas enquanto aguardo a aquisição do Switch e o Breath of the Wild.
