Realidade Paralela: E se Diablo 3 fosse lançado para o Wii U?

Recentemente, eu e quase toda a equipe da Nintendo Lovers começamos a jogar Diablo 3 juntos e online! O que me fez refletir sobre como seria se esse jogo fosse lançado também para Wii U (lembrando que ele foi lançado para PS3, X360, XOne e PS4). Por isso, hoje faremos uma experiência! Tal qual a linha do tempo de The Legend of Zelda, entraremos em uma realidade paralela para dizer como seria muito (põe muito nisso) bem vinda uma versão de Diablo 3 para Wii U.

Capacidade do Wii U

Bom, todos sabemos que o Wii U não é um primor de processamento, mas mesmo assim ele é superior ao PS3 e X360. Como dito acima, houve versões de Diablo 3 para esses dois consoles, logo uma versão para o queridíssimo console da Nintendo seria possível, tecnicamente falando.

O Jogo em si

Diablo 3 é um jogo muito bem trabalhado e divertido, especialmente se você joga online com os amigos. É cheio de coisas para explorar e, algumas vezes, você se pega reparando até mesmo no cenário que é cheio de detalhes.

Cada roupa ou item que você usa, altera visualmente o seu personagem, o que dá um efeito de imersão bem bacana no game! Se você não conhece o jogo, dê uma chance, pois vale a pena.

Controles

É consenso para quem jogou as versões de console e de PC que jogar com o controle (no caso da versão de consoles) é muito melhor do que jogar com o mouse (versão de PC). Isso é tão verdade que houve abaixo-assinado para que a Blizzard colocasse o suporte à controles também na versão de PC. Essa sugestão foi sumariamente descartada pela empresa por tratar-se de uma versão diferente e com comandos totalmente diferente.

Cá entre nós, a precisão de jogar com o controle, no caso desse jogo em específico, é muito maior do que a do mouse. Eu tenho sérios problemas, por exemplo, pra sair de uma situação de risco por que tenho que ficar posicionando o mouse em um ponto da tela.

No entanto, mesmo o controle sendo melhor, o jogo ainda peca em um sentido. Pra ver o mapa você precisa parar o que está fazendo, abrir o mapa (que fica na frente da tela, entender pra onde você tem que ir, fechar o mapa e continuar a jogar. Ajuste de habilidades e de inventário é a mesma coisa. E uma coisa é essencial para se destacar: se você abre qualquer dessas telas, o jogo continua a rodar, mas você não enxerga nada que está acontecendo justamente por causa da tela na sua frente.

O problema do parágrafo anterior poderia não existir na versão do Wii U, pois nela poderia ser utilizado o Gamepad (que muita gente fala mal, mas eu acho sensacional). Imagine só: o mapa ali, só olhar pra baixo! Inventário e habilidades controlados também por ali e você vendo o que está acontecendo na tela da TV, ou seja, se você for atacado enquanto está mexendo no inventário, por exemplo, você conseguiria rapidamente aniquilar os inimigos sem ter que, sequer, sair da tela do Gamepad.

Mas por que não lançou?

Enquanto a gente tenta romantizar o mundo dos videogames falando que esse mundo é essencialmente diversão, as empresas pensam o oposto da gente! Esse mundo pra elas representa somente dinheiro e lucro. E não estou fazendo juízo de valor, afinal empresa é feita para dar dinheiro e não diversão, não é? No caso dos videogames, diversão e dinheiro caminham juntos, por isso uma versão para o Wii U não ocorreu e vou tentar explicar o por quê disso!

Base de usuários é o principal ponto a ser destacado. O Wii U não tem uma base de jogadores grande e ela fica ainda menor quando tratamos de jogadores que gostam de jogos com temática “adulta”. Isso torna o trabalho de migração e adaptação do jogo para o controle do Wii U um trabalho que, provavelmente a Blizzard não teria retorno que justificasse.

Infelizmente, o Wii U, com isso, deixou de receber um grande jogo, divertido e com o selo da Blizzard de excelência.
