Quem conviveu e teve a oportunidade de jogar os jogos na década de 90 sabe o quão importante era um certo robôzinho azul para toda uma legião de fãs. A Capcom sabia fazer jogos plataformas desafiadores e Megaman era um belo exemplo desses excelentes jogos. E hoje, o post é dedicado a ele!
Com uma mecânica que marcou os jogos da empresa, Megaman trazia uma jogabilidade extremamente divertida, com ótimos combates e evolução de personagem e de armaduras. Utilizando-se de uma progressão horizontal (esquerda para direita) para traçar o seu objetivo, muitos dos jogos usaram e abusaram da progressão vertical para criar desafios aos jogadores. Wall Jump, dash, concentração de poder e outras formas de jogabilidade deram um charme todo especial à série.
Uma das coisas mais legais dos jogos da franquia era que, cada vez que você derrotava um chefe, você assimilava seu poder principal e podia usá-lo nas batalhas seguintes. A propósito, as lutas contra os chefes eram um espetáculo à parte, pois cada chefe tinha como fraqueza um poder específico de um outro chefe. Cabia a você descobrir qual era essa fraqueza e, então, explorá-la.
Porém, não era só isso! Tais poderes podiam ser utilizados para obtenção de itens espalhados pelo cenário. Esses itens iam desde um tanque de energia extra até um pedaço de armadura mais potente. Para se ter uma ideia, existiam em alguns jogos pedaços de armaduras que permitiam que você soltasse hadouken e shoryuken. E o que falar da trilha sonora? Pra mim, o Megaman X contém uma das melhores trilhas sonoras de todos os tempos. São músicas que escuto o tempo todo sem enjoar. Se você não conhece, vale a pena conhecer!
Porém, para nossa tristeza, o tempo passou e os jogos da série foram ficando cada vez mais raros, até cair de vez no ostracismo. Não, caro leitor! Não é por falta de mercado, pois Mighty No. 9 tá aí para mostrar que um simples jogo “estilo Megaman” ainda é bem vendido. Mercado nós temos, e muito!
Qual seria o motivo da falta de jogos? Seria a pura e simples falta de interesse? Seria falta de ideias ou incompetência para fazer um jogo ao nível dos anteriores? Ou seria simplesmente por que a Capcom esqueceu de um de seus principais mascotes? Essa última hipótese eu não acredito, até por que ela está bem feliz lançando collections e arrecadando dinheiro baseado em nostalgia!
Sinceramente, eu não sei o motivo! O fato é que eu anseio por um novo jogo que honre os jogos da década de 90, mas não estou vendo sequer uma luz no fim do túnel, infelizmente.
