História
O jogo narra a história de como um aldeão chamado Arch-Illager se tornou um maléfico vilão, preenchendo os cantos do mundo com monstros, bruxos e toda a sorte de inimigos.
Neste contexto que o jogador entra. Você controla um herói desconhecido que visa unicamente restaurar a paz mundial. Para falar bem a verdade, a história deste jogo não é (nem pretende ser) o seu grande chamariz, pois seu destaque mesmo está na jogabilidade.
Jogabilidade
Como dito na introdução deste post, é impossível não associar a imagem de Minecraft Dungeons à de Diablo 3, e o próprio jogo não faz questão alguma de esconder isto. Quem jogou o título da Blizzard irá se deliciar com as mais diversas referências e “cópias” que o jogo trouxe. Goblins do tesouro, baús amaldiçoados e vários outros elementos estão presentes, mas com outra roupagem.
Dito isto, o jogo é sim um Diablo com uma história mais acessível a todos os públicos. A câmera isométrica permanece, os botões de ação e ataques, esquiva, usar poção, estão todos lá. Você vai ganhando armas de curta e longa distância, armaduras e magias para serem aplicadas no personagem.
Ao contrário do que acontece no jogo do capetão, aqui não há classes definidas com habilidades únicas, os desenvolvedores deixaram a customização do personagem baseada unicamente nos itens, possibilitando que os jogadores tenham experiências distintas entre si, a depender somente de sua forma e estilo de jogar.
Quer equipamentos que causem mais dano à distância para evitar o confronto direto? É possível! Quer fortalecer a utilização de magias? Também pode! Quer uma forma de jogar mais balanceada? Por que não? Tudo é muito customizável no jogo e isso possibilita até a criação de um esquadrão com até 4 jogadores em que todos possam combinar papéis para ter uma forma de jogar em time.
Dificuldade, a gente vê por aqui
Ao contrário do que muitos podem pensar, o jogo é bem difícil de se finalizar. Na seleção de cada fase você escolhe o nível dos inimigos, mas o jogo impede que você entre em níveis em que claramente não terá desafio algum, mantendo o foco em batalhas em que o jogador terá alguma dificuldade, mesmo que não seja um grande obstáculo a ser superado.
Jogar em equipe favorece, pois ao morrer você não gasta imediatamente uma vida (sim, o jogo trabalha com conceito de vidas). Contudo, não fica tão mais fácil assim! Isso pelo fato de que, quando um dos aliados cai, o dia vira noite e os demais devem acordá-lo dentro de um determinado tempo para evitar que a noite os castigue (fica impossível sobreviver). Muitas vezes, quando isso acontece, táticas e estratégias ficam esquecidas na busca desenfreada pela sobrevivência.
Gráficos e Som
O jogo está bonito no Switch, mas também não temos muito o que esperar em Minecraft, não é? A própria franquia não se propõe a ter gráficos realistas ou extremamente detalhados. Mesmo assim, a beleza dos cenários e as formas como o cenário é composto enchem os olhos.
Há um sistema de níveis (“andares”) diferentes dentro de um mesmo cenário. Por exemplo: há certas áreas em que você sobe um morro e passa por uma ponte, enquanto seus aliados lutam logo abaixo. É um pequeno detalhe, mas que jogando faz uma baita diferença.
Os sons e as músicas são competentes, mas nada que eu considere espetaculares.
Problemas Graves
Se tem uma coisa que esse jogo tem de sobra são os problemas. Ao iniciar o jogo e tentar selecionar a skin de seu personagem você já encontra dificuldade. Imagine que são várias e várias seleções de personagens distintos em uma tabela com a foto de cada um deles. Esta lista possui uma barra de rolagem e o primeiro personagem selecionado por padrão está na última fileira, não na primeira, e não é exibido na tela. Isso causa uma confusão e me fez pensar que o jogo estava travado, uma vez que eu apertava para baixo e para os lados e o jogo não respondia. Este problema, por se tratar de algo tão preliminar e obrigatório para se começar a aventura, me faz crer que a equipe de desenvolvimento sequer testou o jogo.
Além disso, o jogo tem muitas quedas de framerate que incomodam e causam desconforto. Travamentos, quedas repentinas de conexão, personagens atravessando o cenário e caindo para o além (demonstrando que a parte de detecção de colisão não foi implementada a contento), tudo isso estressa e conta negativamente para o jogo.
Além dos bugs, há decisões completamente equivocadas da equipe. Um dos exemplos que mais me estressaram durante as jogatinas foi o fato de que ao ver um aliado cair próximo a uma aglomeração de monstros, eu corria para ressuscitá-lo. Porém, você deve limpar a área se quiser ter uma chance de sucesso no auxílio ao amigo caído. E é aí que a equipe cometeu um deslize: eles tomaram a decisão de colocar o mesmo botão para ressuscitar aliados e para atacar inimigos, o que traz o inconveniente de você tentar atacar os oponentes e seu personagem de repente virar um curandeiro, morrendo no processo. E não é que não existiam opções de botões, pois havia sim! O botão R, por exemplo, poderia ser utilizado para isso, pois ele é usado para esquiva (rolamento) que também é feita usando-se o analógico direito.
Uma outra tomada de decisão completamente questionável e absurda é o fato de que você não consegue jogar com seus amigos do console. Eles acharam que seria uma ótima ideia obrigar o jogador a criar uma conta da Live, adicionar os amigos por lá e, somente assim, poder jogar online. Repito: é uma decisão ridícula e que não faz o menor sentido.
Um outro aspecto é que, apesar de constar que o jogo possui a linguagem Português do Brasil, não há opção de mudança de idioma, pegando o idioma padrão do console. E como é de conhecimento de todos, o Switch não tem o Português brasileiro entre seus idiomas padrão, ou seja, o jogo somente exibe texto e menus em português de Portugal.
Veredito
O jogo é muito divertido, principalmente se jogado com amigos. Possui boas mecânicas, vários desafios interessantes e é um bom representante do gênero Dungeon Crawler.
Todavia, os problemas que o jogo possui são perceptíveis e irritam demais, o que faz necessário que você reflita sobre eles antes de investir neste game. Ressalto que até a data de publicação deste post não houve nenhum patch de update, o que não impede que no futuro tenhamos atualizações e estes problemas sejam eliminados.
Dito isto, recomendo a todos que gostam de um jogo do estilo “Diablo”. Porém, tenha ciência de todos os bugs e que o jogo não é longo, prolongando-se apenas nos casos em que os jogadores queiram refazer as fases em dificuldades superiores ou para aquela diversão em galera.
